Shanghai EXPO's Dutch Culture Centre wins local award

The Dutch Culture Centre (DCC), which was part of the Dutch presentation during Shanghai's 2010 World EXPO, won the International Award at the 2010-2011 Jing'an District Top Ten Cultural Activities Presentation.

Jing'an is one of Shanghai's primary cultural and business districts. During the 6 months' period, DCC showcased the richness and diversity of Dutch culture and Dutch-Chines cultural exchange. The programme attracted more than 20,000 visitors.

The Dutch Culture Centre was a project of the Netherlands China Arts Foundation (NCAF) in cooperation with SICA; it was commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture & Science and supported by the Chinese-Dutch business community.
